Scholarship, The Coca-Cola Critical Difference for Women,
Gender
and Gender Equality, and The Tinker Foundation Field Research
Award made the research and production possible.
Six
filmmakers took part in the videography at 3 locations in
Mexico [17th century convent in Desierto de los Leones,
pyramids in Teotihuacán, coast in Veracruz, and agave
fields in Jalisco]. In the US, her first printed manuscript
and her original handwritten letter of repentance were shot,
along with other scenes that required for special sets to
be created.
